Already set for
“The Roar Of Singapore”, was a highly interesting
match-up for the vacant Universal Boxing
Organization™ (UBO) World Light Heavyweight title
between Ryan Ford (9-0, 6 KOs) from Canada and New
Zealand´s Sam Rapira (15-3, 10 KOs) as the
headliner. |

In co-featured
bouts, Malaysian Mirage Khan (7-1, 3 KOs) will
challenge for the vacant UBO Inter-Continental
Light Heavyweight title, and Benjamin Kelleher
(3-0, 2 KOs) from New Zealand fights for the
vacant UBO Asia-Pacific Cruiserweight belt.
Opponents for both to be confirmed.
Now a fourth
UBO championship fight has been added to the
massive card, also making it the biggest UBO
event in history, as O’Farrell reveals that
local Singapore-star Rafi Majid (3-0, 3 KOs)
will attempt to win the vacant Asia-Pacific
Super Middleweight title against an opponent TBA.

“I
am so excited to get this opportunity”, said
Majid. “I want to express my gratitude to Ringstar
Management, and especially my great coach Arvind
Lalwani, without whom I would not be here.”
Scott Patrick
O’Farrell: “I have the honor of working with one
of the most respected and real people in boxing,
Arvind Lalwani of Juggernaut Fight Club, and
founder and pioneer of the Singapore Fighting
Championships.”
“Without
people like Mr. Boss-Man Lalwani, none of what I
dream would be possible. The same goes for Alex
Volodin in Malaysia, who gives so much to see
people like Mirage Khan become champion.”

|
“I
love this sport, and I have respect for all
involved. Bringing the biggest event
in UBO history to Singapore is indeed the
greatest achievement of my life.”
“Seeing another
Singaporean and a Malaysian become Superstars is
exactly what these two countries need and
deserve. My hat goes off in awe of the future
boxing has with all this talent here.”

“We
are bringing World Championship boxing back to
exactly that, boxing! The fights being the main
attraction, not the stadium or the venue they
are being held in. This should never be bigger
than the event.”
“I
want people to experience and see this sweet
science for exactly what it is, not where it is
staged! Singapore and the people here are
amazing, and I want to hold this huge,
history-making event in a country and area that
keeps everything real, up-close and engaging.”
Promoted by
Ringstar Management, “The Roar Of Singapore”
benefits from the support of RightHook
Communications, Phuket Top Team, Alex Gym, SFC,
Spartans Boxing Club, 11 Sports Network and
Astro Arena.
