Congratulations to UBO All-Africa Cruiserweight Champion Rolly Lambert Fogoum (14-1-1, 12 KOs) from Cameroon, who can now also call himself Asian Champion.

Due to Fogoum (Pictured) being based in the U.A.E., he was approved by the WBA to contest their Asia title on August 3 in Bangkok, Thailand, where he stopped local man Nattapon Plangpimai (16-2, 13 KOs) in the fourth round.

UBO East Europe Light Heavyweight Champion Michal Ryba from the Czech Republic improved his record to 11-9-1 (9) on August 21, when he stopped former Egyptian champion Nabyl Zaky (8-2, 5 KOs) in the third round of a non-title fight in Brno.

Eight days before that, Ryba halted journeyman Ivo Zednicek (3-10, 3 KOs) in five rounds in another stay-busy bout.

Former UBO World Light Heavyweight ruler Ryan “The Real Deal” Ford (17-7, 12 KOs) from Canada, will get a chance to become a two-time world champion when he faces World Boxing Federation (WBF) titlist Shefat Isufi (35-4-2, 24 KOs) on September 16 in Germany.

Ford won the UBO world title in February of 2017 when he stopped New Zealander Sam Rapira (15-3, 10 KOs), and retained it two months later with a technical decision against another Kiwi, Robert Berridge (29-6-1, 21 KOs), before moving down to Super Middleweight later that year.

Current UBO International Super Welterweight titlist Francesco Sarchioto (15-1, 5 KOs) is scheduled to fight for the Italian national crown on October 21 in Rome. He will face Francesco Russo (11-2).

We welcome the knowledgable and experienced Martinez dos Santos as the new UBO Indonesia representative.

Mr. dos Santos replaces Jeffrey Pamungkas, who has been forced to resign due to new work commitments, but will always remain a part of the UBO family.
