UBO Inter-Continental Middleweight Champion Christian ”Coqqos” Schembri from Malta will return to action on July 26 in a six-round non-title fight against an opponent.

26-year-old Schembri (15-6, 7 KOs) will face an opponent TBA at the Pavilion Open Air Arena in Kordin Paola on a show promoted by Prize Boxing Promotions billed as “Summer Showdown”.

A belated congratulations to former UBO World Light Heavyweight Champion Ryan “Real Deal” Ford, who won a WBC regional title back I April, stopping undefeated Serge Michel (8-0, 6 KOs) in eight round in Germany.

After winning and defending the UBO World title back in 2017, the Canadian moved down to Super Middleweight where he came up short in three very competitive high-profile title fights in Russia and Germany, but he is now firmly back in the mix at Light Heavyweight.

Fun Fact: UBO World Heavyweight Champion Alexander Frank (17-0-1, 14 KOs) is not the biggest boxer in his own family. Not even close!

While Alexander (33) is 180 Cm. tall and weights around 95 Kg., his 35-year-old older brother Jurij “The Giant” Frank (13-4, 12 KOs) is perhaps the tallest active boxer alive at 217 Cm., and 135 kg.

In comparison, former WBA World Heavyweight Champion Nikolay Valuev was “only” 213 Cm. tall...

The Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) is happy to welcome three new representatives, who recently joined us: Brazil Representative Geyza Caryny, Nigeria Representative Raphael Ikediobi and Gambia Representative Abdaouli M.A. Jallow.
