- After
winning the UBO
Inter-Continental Super
Middleweight title in 2011,
Anthony Dirrell soon established
himself as one of the best in
the world in his weight class.
Since losing his WBC World title
in April of 2015, Dirrell has
put together three straight
victories and is now set to
fight former World Middleweight
Champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
(50-3-1) on November 11 in Las
Vegas.
A victory over Chavez Jr. will
bring 32-year-old Dirrell, from
Flint, Michigan, even closer to
another shot at a World
championship.
