UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

Barring a draw, a new Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) world Welterweight champion will be crowned on October 19 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Current UBO International champion Yosif Panov (24-3, 11 KOs) will take on Frenchman Sandy Messaoud (17-6, 1 KO), for the vacant title, headlining Max Fight 56 promoted by Max Fight Prodction.

Panov won the UBO International title last April with a unanimous decision over Argentinian Victoriano Santillan, and is riding an impressive twenty-two fight winning streak.

Messaoud, who has won WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO regional titles, is undefeated since 2015, having won his last nine outings. Three of those wins were against unbeaten opponents.

Both Panov and Messaoud will be entering their first world championship opportunity, and its a real toss-up who will emerge victorious from what is a genuine fifty-fifty fight.

Arguably the most significant fight in Bulgaria in recent times, the Panov vs. Messaoud UBO world Welterweight title fight will be broadcast live by Diema Sports.
