After a scintillating performance on Friday evening, January 21, at the Payende Sports Center in San Luis, Tolima, Colombia, Josue Morales is now a double Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) champion.

El Zurdo De Oro”, from Houston, Texas, impressively stopped experienced former IBF world title-challenger Jose Antonio Jimenez in the first round to add the UBO International Super Flyweight title to the Latino title he already held.

29-year-old southpaw Morales knocked Jimenez out with a thunderous body-shot, possibly resulting in a broken rip, scoring his third straight stoppage and tenth straight victory.

Now 21-12-4 (6), Morales has completely resurrected his career after starting 2021 with a 11-12-4 ledger, and is quickly closing in on a world title opportunity.

Jimenez, from Magangue, Colombia, drops to 22-15-1 (9) in a fifteen year career where he has faced some of the best in the world.

The fight headlined a show promoted by TAC Promotions in association with 8 Count Promotions.
