Brandon ”The Cannon” Berry is the new Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) All-America Welterweight Champion after winning the vacant title on Saturday, November 14, at the New England Sports Center in Derry, New Hampshire.

In front of a limited crowd due to Covid-19 restrictions, around 800 people in the 2000 capacity arena, Berry looked on top of his game as he impressively stopped Zack Kuhn in the second round.

After a lively first round with plenty of back-and-forth, Berry firmly took control in the second, working effectively to the body, and scored three knock-downs before the fight was waved over by referee Leo Gerstel. Time of stoppage: 2:50.

Berry (33), from West Forks in Maine, won his sixth straight fight and took his professional record to 19-5-2 (13). Charleston, West Virginia´s Kuhn (29) drops to 10-7-1 (5).

The fight was promoted by Granite Chin Promotions, and headlined the afternoon portion of a massive twenty-one bout card split into two parts, billed as “Gold Rush”.
