Fogoum
(8-1, 7 KOs) will face what will probably be his
sternest test to date in “The Egyptian
Hurricane” Hany Atiyo (17-3, 12 KOs), who held
the UBO All-Africa title at Light Heavyweight
back in 2011 and is also currently based in
Dubai.
Since
winning the UBO belt this past March, defeating
Stephen Abbey on away soil in Ghana, 31-year-old
Fogoum has fought twice, winning non
title-fights, both by stoppage, in Dubai.
In Atiyo
(37), who is also a former WBC (ABU) African
Champion and Egyptian national Champion, he will
be in with someone considerably more experienced
who has only lost to two men, twice to former
UBO World Cruiserweight titlist Joey Vegas and
to legendary former UBO Inter-Continental
Champion Roy Jones Jr.
