Julias Kisarawe reached a high point in his career on Friday October 16, when he won the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) All-Africa Super Flyweight title in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

In front of a large, and loud, crowd at Keko Mabembeani Ground, Kisarawe defeated Tanzanian compatriot Msabaha Salum Msabaha by unanimous decision.

Kisarawe appeared in control from start to finish, and was mainly the aggressor as Msabaha was forced on the back foot for most of the contest.

So after ten rounds of boxing, there was little doubt that Kisarawe would be declared the winner.

Judges Robert Kasiga, Ally Bakari Champion and Anthony Ruta all scored the fight 97-93 in favor of Kisarawe.

The new UBO All-Africa Super Flyweight Champion improved his professional record to 32-7-1 (16), while Msabaha drops to 9-2-1 (1).

The fight was one of the featured bouts of a show promoted by Kigula Sports Ent.

UBO Female International Light Flyweight Champion Halima Vunjabei was also supposed to defend her title, but no qualified opponent could be secured and she instead won a four round non title contest.
