Former Tanzanian national Champion Julias Kisarawe (31-7-1, 16 KOs) is looking to make a break-through for his career, when he fights for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) All-Africa Super Flyweight title on October 16 in Dar Es Salaam.

In the opposite corner will be revenge-hungry 21-year-old compatriot Msabaha Salum Msabaha (9-1-1, 1 KO), whom Kisarawe (30) defeated in a competitive non-title fight in February of 2019.

Kisarawe has fought for various regional titles before, but always come up short, albeit against very good opponents such as top-contenders Prasitsak Phaprom, Arnold Khegai and Jason Maloney, as well as future UBO World Champion Prince Patel and reigning WBA World title-holder Reymart Gaballo.

All those fights took place on his opponents turf, so he will be looking forward to the opportunity to capture a significant title in his home-country. The same obviously goes for Msabaha, who will be entering his first championship bout.

Also on the card will be UBO Female International Light Flyweight Champion Halima Vunjabei (8-5-1, 4 KOs), defending her title against an opponent to be confirmed.

The show, promoted by Kigula Sports Ent., will be broadcast live in various African countries by Azam TV.
