On the same
card, staged at the Quadra Escola de Samba
Gavioes da Fiel in Sao Paolo, his next foe,
Bruno Cesar De Paula also record a victory.
So on October
19, 2019 in Mogi Mirim, Da Silva and De Paula
squared off for the vacant UBO International
Light Heavyweight title, and the vacant
Brazilian national title.
It was a good
fight, but Da Silva won a relatively clear
unanimous decision (98-92 on all cards), and was
being lined up to fight for the UBO Youth World
title in the first half of 2020.
We all know how
the Corona virus has halted most plans, but
hopefully Da Silva will be able to continue the
progression of his career soon.
