Horejsek Stops Albert To Win UBO Inter-Continental

Popular Czech Karel Horejsek delighted his home-town fans with an impressive victory over Ferenc Albert from Hungary to win the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Light Heavyweight title on Saturday (December 21) in the city of Kladno.


The ever entertaining Horejsek had the fans at the packed Sportovni Hala on their feet when he over-powered Albert already in the third, scoring a technical knockout as referee Jan Teleki waved it off at 1:23 of the round.

A former Czech national champion and German International titlist, Horejsek improved his professional record to 16-12-3 (13) in a paid career where he has boxed a regular who´s-who of the best in Europe since his debut in 2014.

Former UBO European Light Heavyweight Champion Ferenc Albert, a 26-year-old born in Romania, drops to 27-17 (15).

Promoted by Jaroslav Vodrazka, the fight headlined a massive international combat sports show billed as Night of Warriors, which also included K1 and MMA bouts.
