Sefer “The Real Deal” Seferi won the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Cruiserweight title on Saturday (November 30).

At the Markthalle in his adopted home-town of Burgdorf, Switzerland, Albanian-born Seferi stopped Laszlo Ivanyi from Hungary in the sixth round, much to the delight of his many passionate fans at ringside.

Seferi was originally scheduled to contest the vacant UBO World Cruiserweight title, but when it was not possible to secure a suitable opponent the fight against Ivanyi was instead sanctioned for the Inter-Continental title.

Now the perennial contender, who improved his professional record to 24-3-1 (22), is looking to fight for the UBO world title next May.

Ivanyi, coming off a draw against local hero Toni Thes in Germany in his previous outing, drops to a misleading 10-13-1 (8).

The fight, which also had the GBF Interim World Championship and the LBF Intercontinental title on the line, was promoted by Boxclub Burgdorf.
