UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

On Saturday, June 8, at the Complex # 9 in Sao Paolo, Brazil, Fernando Luis Pinto made a crushing statement as he captured the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Welterweight title.

Nicknamed ”Cruel”, The 33-year-old lived up to the moniker perfectly, as he showed no mercy in stopping local rival Guilherme Castagnazzi Ribeiro already in the first round. Time of stoppage was 2:06.

It was always expected that this fight would not go the distance, as both fighters had secured all their victories inside the distance, but to end the fight in the first stanza is an impressive result for Pinto.

The new UBO International Super Welterweight Champion improved his professional record to 7-1-1 (7), and also added the Brazilian national crown and the American Boxing Federation title to his resume, while Ribeiro drops to 4-3 (4).

The fight was the main event of a show promoted by Cruel Fight and Mike Miranda Jr.
