The Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) is headed to Brazil, where a fight for the vacant UBO International Super Welterweight title will headline on Saturday June 8 at Complex # 9 in Downtown Sao Paolo.

Interestingly, it will be a cross-town rivalry as both principals, Fernado Luis “Cruel” Pinto and Guilherme Castagnazzi Ribeiro, are from Sao Paolo.

Pinto (33) turned professional in July 2016, and won the Brazilian national Welterweight title in November of 2017.

With a record of 6-1-1 (6), he is now set to move up in weight in an attempt to add to his resume.

The younger man at 29, Castagnazzi Ribeiro brings a pro ledger of 4-2 (4), and is a former Brazilian national title-challenger.

Local pride also on the line, and both boxers having secured all their victories inside the distance, this promises to be an explosive fight.

The card, billed “Cruel Fight”, has eight professional and four amateur bouts scheduled, and is promoted by main event fighter Pinto in cooperation with Mike Miranda Jr.
