On August
19 at the K Ranch Arena in Sydney, Browne
(38-7-2, 15 KOs) will take on Ebenezer Lantei
Lamptey (29-3, 22 KOs) from Ghana for the vacant
UBO World Super Welterweight title.
The fight
will headline a big show staged by accomplished
promoter Paul Druce.
Browne,
who has held numerous titles from Featherweight
to Super Welterweight, won the UBO International
title in May of 2017, stopping Indonesian
Alexander Bajawa in three rounds in Singapore.
He since
added the IBO Asia Pacific title with a victory
over former WBC World Champion and UBO
Inter-Continental titlist Sirimongkhon Iamthuam
from Thailand, also in Singapore, and has scored
two non-title victories in Las Vegas and Miami
earlier this year.
