UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

POSTPONED! NEW DATE TBA! Royal Battle”, the historic event taking place on June 22 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, being the first ever professional boxing show in Oman, is shaping up nicely.

Promoted by Al Swayni Promotions, and headlined by a fascinating fight for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Light Heavyweight title between local hero Amin Bait-Saleem and Tanzanian Said Mbelwa, the undercard is looking interesting.

In the main supporting bout, undefeated Dubai-based Irishman Rohan Date (4-0, 3 KOs) is scheduled to take on experienced Joseph Sinkala (13-11-1, 7 KOs) from Tanzania over six rounds at Super Welterweight, in what will be his stiffest test to date.

Additionally, and quite unusually, two debutants from Morocco, Zakaria El Jamari and Farid Boulasdal, will square off over eight rounds at Lightweight to decide who will get an ideal start to life in the paid ranks.

Finally, Scottish first-timer Chris Rutherford makes his pro bow at Middleweight against Russian-born Armenian Samvel Petrosyan (0-1), who is looking to rebound from losing his debut by split decision in March of last year.
