Seven
years after challenging Mbwana Matumla for the
UBO Inter-Continental title in Dar-Es-Salaam,
losing a close decision, Gabriel Ochieng will
take on another Tanzanian in Ramadhan Kumbele
for the vacant UBO International Bantamweight
crown.
Former
East & Central Africa Champion Ochieng, a
31-year-old local Southpaw, is 17-7-1 (13) since
turning pro in 2009, while Kumbele brings a
21-13-4 (9) ledger compiled in a paid career
starting in 2004.
In the
co-headlining fight, Nairobi-favorite Consolata
Musanga (6-3-3, 4 KOs) takes on hard-punching
undefeated Tanzanian Rehema Abdallah (6-0-1, 5
KOs) for the vacant UBO Female International
Lightweight Championship.
