Kaleng & Sadiki Triumph In UBO Title Fights

Rocky Kaleng retained the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Heavyweight title on Saturday (April 7) at the Grand Hotel de Kinshasa in Kinshasa, D. R. Congo.

 
 

Kaleng, who won the title against Georges Akuvi from Niger last July, stopped Argentinian Nestor Fabian “El Guacha” Insaurralde in the sixth round.

Also the current UBO All-Africa Heavyweight Champion. Kaleng improved his professional record to 10-2 (5). Insaurralde sees his record dip to 16-15-1 (15).

In the shows co-feature, former UBO All-Africa titlist Maroy Sadiki won the vacant UBO International Cruiserweight title.

 

  
  

Sadiki impressively prevailed with a third round knockout of former WBC Mundo Hispano Champion Orlando Antonio Farias, also from Argentina.

The new UBO Champion is now 15-1-1 (7). Farias drops to 32-18 (20).

Promoter was Manda Mukadi.
