Merry Christmas & Happy New Year From The UBO!

2017 was a wonderful year for the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO), and it is my pleasure to take a few minutes during this holiday season to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

 
 

From Singapore to Pakistan, Morocco, Tunisia and Indonesia, and many places in between, we once again entered new territories and sanctioned many world class championship bouts with quality boxers and quality promoters.

There were more UBO title fights in 2017 than in any other single year since our start in 2005, and everyone involved should be proud of our continued progress. We always stripe to give opportunities to those who may struggle to get opportunities elsewhere, and we did so in many instances in 2017.

 


Due to unfortunate circumstances within our voting-panel, the yearly UBO Boxing Awards will not be going ahead in January. It is a great shame, as so many deserve recognition, but we hope to have the awards back in early 2019.

Thank you to every boxer, every promoter, every manager and every representative of the UBO. You are all very much appreciated!

Here is to hoping, and believing that 2018 will be equally successful.
