On
Saturday December 9 at the Halle de la Gombe
in Kinshasa, D.R. Congo, local man Bilindo
“Show Yaya” Eseko won the vacant
Universal
Boxing Organization™
(UBO) Central Africa Lightweight title.

In a good
fight, with many terrific exchanges, Eseko
scored a unanimous decision over fellow
countryman Hassan Mboyo on a show promoted by
Garro Nanikian.
With many
close rounds where it was hard to seperate the
two, scores were 79-75 (Judge Wivinne Tshidibi),
80-76 (Judge Andre Nzau Zama) and 80-77 (Judge
Serge Nzau).

22-year-old Mboyo, a pro since June of 2013,
takes his professional record to 9-2 (2). Mboyo
(23) drops to 5-4 (3).
