Miroslav Serban impressed many ringsiders with his decisive victory to become the new Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Lightweight Champion on Saturday night (November 25) at the Prosper Golf Resort in Celadna, Czech Republic.

Serban didn't have an easy opponent in front of him, as former WBF International Welterweight Champion Bryan Boussis from France is known to be a very capable and tricky adversary, but after ten rounds of boxing it was clear that the local fighter had won most of the rounds.

Judge Radek Linka only gave Bouassis a share of the first round, as his score read 100-91, while Judges Marcel Brzokoupil and Bohumil Ruckschlos had it a clean shut-out for Serban at 100-90. The referee was Ondrej Holubek.

As he captured his first significant championship as a professional, 26-year-old Miroslav Serban improved his record to 9-1 (5) and could be in consideration to fight for the UBO World title in the not too distant future.

Bryan Boussis (25), who voluntarily gave up his WBF Welterweight title to pursue glory at Super Lightweight, falls to 10-7-1 (1).

The Serban vs. Boussis UBO International Super Lightweight title fight was the main event of a show promoted by Stanislav Schreiber.
