Serban,
8-1 (5) and a pro since January of 2016, faces
former World Boxing Federation (WBF)
International Welterweight titlist Bryan Boussis
(10-6-1, 1 KO) from France, who is moving down
in weight in an attempt to win his second
championship.
Serban´s
sole defeat came in August of 2016 when he
dropped a decision after eight rounds to Gabor
Gorbics (19-3) in a fight for a regional title.
He has since won four straight, leading up to
what will be his first ten-rounder.
Boussis
won the WBF International Welterweight title in
his most recent outing, stopping Georgian Ruben
Movsesiani in seven last April. Super
Lightweight is his natural weight, and he is
expected to be a very tough hurdle for Serban.
