Mwamakula (14-7-2, 6 KOs) lost for the UBO World
Welterweight title against Russian Shahin
Adygezalov last April, when he was disqualified
in the fifth round of their fight in Uganda, due
to what was ruled an intentional head-but.
Now
Mwamakula (26) has moved down in weight to
attempt to get his career back on track,
headlining a show promoted by his own company
Mwamakula Brothers.

His
opponent will be Wilson “Hard Hitter” Masamba
from Malawi, who brings a lot of experience
along with a 28-10 (10) record.
The
33-year-old from Blantyre has won his last two
fights, so brings plenty of confidence into what
will be his biggest fight in years.
The main
event fight will be supported by a strong
undercard involving local Tanzanian prospects.
