SHOW POSTPONED, NEW DATE JULY 8! Kolwezi, the capital of Lualaba Province in D.R. Congo, will host a Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Heavyweight title fight on Friday June 30, featuring local hero Rocky Kaleng against a Russian opponent to be announced shortly.

Lualaba is one of the new dismembered provinces of the D.R.C., and the pilot province for the visions of its leader, his excellency Governor Richard Muyej Mangeze Mans, in many areas including sports.

Under his high patronage, Rocky Kaleng captured the UBO All-Africa Heavyweight title last November 27, in Kolwezi, with a ninth round knockout of Mohamed Asma from Niger.

That same night, Tshikubu Muvud won the D.R.C National Super Welterweight title, which he has since defended once. On the big show on June 30, to celebrate the 57th anniversary of the D.R.C., Muvud will be fighting for the UBO Central Africa Super Welterweight title against an opponent yet to be confirmed.

Governor Muyej Mangeze Mans has a good provincial minister of sports in Mr. Ady Nawezi (pictured with Rocky Kaleng), who works with the president of the provincial boxing league Mr. Buddy Mukadi, a great boxing enthusiast.

These two men has been a big support for promoter Mukadi Manda in his efforts to develop professional boxing in Luabala.

Should Rocky Kaleng emerge victorious and win the UBO International title, he will be invited to the USA to prepare for his next fight, likely with the UBO Inter-Continental title at stake.

The referee for the main event on June 30 will come from Spain, and the supervisors will be UBO West & Central Africa representative Claude Kaninda with assistance from UBO Baltic and Mediterranean Commissioner and French Representative Mr. Sebastien Pitois coming from France.

The undercard will consist of many interesting fights featuring boxers from all over D.R.C., making Kolwezi the center of the country on June 30, 2017.
