hometown of Bagamoyo, Paialri fought on the
front-foot from the start, and beat Mwamoso to
the punch in winning three of the first four
rounds convincingly.
In round
five the Malawian quit, claiming an injured leg.
At the
time of the stoppage Pialari, who improved his
record to 19-3-1 (14), was ahead on all cards:
39-37, 39-37 and 40-36.

the title last November, stopping fellow
countryman Pius Kazaula in five rounds.
Mwamaso,
now 12-10-2 (2), was not eligible to win the
title as he failed to make weight at the
day-before weigh-in.
