One

All-Africa Super Middleweight title on
Saturday night (May 6), at Jamhuri Stadium
in Morogoro, Tanzania.

Headlining a self-promoted show, 35-year-old
Cheka beat local rival Said Mbelwa by sixth
round disqualification, as a clearly frustrated
Mbelwa disgraced himself by blatantly biting
Cheka´s left shoulder in the sixth round.
Cheka, a
former World Boxing Federation (WBF) World
Champion and former UBO International and
Inter-Continental Champion, was ahead on all
scorecards (49-46, 49-46 and 48-47) when referee
Anthony Ruta pulled the plug.

(17), while Mbelwa, a former UBO, WBF and WBO
title-challenger and Tanzanian Light Heavyweight
titlist, falls to 39-24-5 (25).
