UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

L´homme-Mystére” (In English,”The Riddler”), Mouhamed Sder will fight for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Welterweight title on Friday May 12 at the Complexe Sportif Des Ascenseurs in Thieu, Belgium.

In the main event of a show billed as “Bufi Boxing Fight Night 4”, 30-year-old Sder (12-4-2, 5 KOs), a former WBC regional titlist from nearby Mons, is pitted against hard-punching Serbian Zeljko Kovacevic (7-4-1, 5 KOs).

In 2015 Sder captured the WBC Francophone championship by beating undefeated fellow Belgian Imad Azaroui (8-0).

He followed that victory up with another good one, defeating Hakim Ben Ali (13-2) by second round stoppage.

In April of 2016 he lost the WBC title by very close decision to Damien Martin (24-8-4) in France, and two months later he came up short in a challenge for the Belgian national crown and the BeNeLux title.

He has since bounced back with two decisive wins to line up another title fight.

For Zeljko Kovacevic (27), it will be his first shot at a professional title. All his four losses came against good opponents, fighting three times in Italy and once in France, so traveling abroad for this big opportunity will not be new for him.

Promoter: Mauro Bufi / Boxing Club Bufi.
