A
nice crowd had turned up to watch
Universal
Boxing Organization™ (UBO)
Championship boxing on Thursday night, March
16, at the Mestska Sportovni Hala in
Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic, with
local man Marek Prochazka fighting for the
International Super Middleweight title.

Taking
on fellow undefeated prospect Otar
Gogoberishvili from Georgia, Prochazka was the
stronger and faster man, but it was an
entertaining fight where both men handled
themselves very well, considering their limited
number of outings.
The
fight went all ten rounds, and all three judges
scored the fight widely for Prochazka. Scoring
referee Jan Frana had it 99-93, Judge Pavel
Kocabek scored it 98-92, and Judge Radek Linka
had Prochazka winning by 99-92.

The new
UBO International Super Middleweight Champion
improved his record to 5-0 (2), while
Gogoberishvili drops to 4-1-2 (2). Both men have
extensive experience from Kick-Boxing, but this
was their first title fight as professional
boxers.
“Iron
Fight Night 2”, headlined by
Prochazka
vs.
Gogoberishvili, was promoted by Alois Sherik.
