UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

With great belief in the abilities Marek Prochazka, promoter Alois Skerik has the up-and-comer from Prague headlining a show at the Mestska Sportovni Hala in Jablonec Nad Nisou, Czech Republic on March 16, fighting for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Middleweight title.

Undefeated at 4-0 (2) as a professional boxer, Prochazka has massive fighting-experience from Kickboxing, and his handlers are confident that he is ready to be moved quickly in “The Sweet Science”. This will be his first scheduled ten round fight.

27-year-old Prochazka, nicknamed “Optimus”, is coming off a victory on February 25, where he scored a unanimous decision over six rounds against Petr Chmelik. Last June he stopped former GBU Champion, and UBO International title-challenger, Bronislav Kubin in five rounds.

His opponent in the main event of “Iron Fight Night 2” will be fellow undefeated prospect Otar Gogoberishvili from Georgia, who brings a 4-0-2 (2) record. Gogoberishvili has yet to beat anyone of note, but a draw with 8-0 Soso Abuladze last year proves that he is no mug.

Prochazka vs. Gogoberishvili is a very interesting match-up between two ambitious and hungry boxers looking to take their careers to the next level. It remains to be seen who is the better man, but the fans at ringside are almost certainly in for an entertaining night.
