UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

FIGHT POSTPONED, NEW DATE APRIL 23, 2017! NEW OPPONENT: AMOS MWAMAKULA, 15-6-2 (7)! Born in Azerbaijan, living in Russia, but currently fighting out of Uganda, undefeated Welterweight Shahin Adygezalov is looking to make several countries proud when he fights for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) World Welterweight title on March 25 in Kampala.

23-year-old Adygezalov has been quite the globetrotter since turning professional in 2013. He made his debut in Belorussia, before having three fights in Poland, and one in Ghana. His last three outings took place in Uganda, bringing his unblemished record to 8-0 (7).

In the opposite corner, in the main event of a show promoted by Baltic Pro Box Promotions, will be fellow Southpaw Fabian Lyimo from Tanzania, who brings a record of 19-6-2 (12) and will present a stern challenge for the “home-fighter”.

Considered a major talent among insiders in the sport, Adygezalov has a close connection to living legend, and former UBO Inter-Continental Cruiserweight Champion, Roy Jones Jr., whom discovered the young man early in his career.

It remains to be seen if its too early for the up-and-comer, who has been training for several months in Kampala. Is Lyimo too experienced, or can Adygezalov become UBO world champion and make all his supporters proud.

The big event will also feature other championship fights, and a stacked undercard involving some of Uganda´s finest talents.
