Going out live on national
television, and in front of what is expected to
be a large and lively crowd in the arena,
undefeated former African champion Ahmed
Benjeddou is set to take on Georgian veteran
Giorgi Ungiadze for the title.
Benjeddou (13-0-2, 3 KOs) a
professional since 2009, is the favorite going
in, but much less experienced than the
battle-tested Ungiadze (39-31, 26 KOs), who is
entering his seventy-first paid bout since
making his debut in 2005.
Having fought the far
superior opposition, Ungiadze´s record is
blemished mainly by world class boxers such as
Vyasheslav Senchenko, Michael Jennings, Michel
Soro, Viktor Plotnikov, Sasha Yengoyan, Fredrick
Lawson and Attila Kovacs.
