Against
Juma Fundi (29-14-3, 11 KOs) it will be “sink or
swim”, as the Tanzanian is a highly experienced
and capable opponent for a professional novice
such as Baloch. A victory will prove that the
Pakistani is one to look out for on the world
scene in coming years.
Fundi
captured the UBO International Flyweight title
in July of 2010, and went on to win the UBO
World Flyweight title the following November.
While Baloch is fighting for his first title,
this will be the twelfth championship fight for
Fundi.
As
professional boxing is in its infant stages in
Pakistan,
this
event
is sure to give the sport a massive boost in the
South Asian republic. Baloch claiming the UBO
title will take things to another level, and
undoubtedly inspire many of his young countrymen
to follow their dreams.
The
Baloch vs. Fundi UBO International Super
Bantamweight title fight will be promoted by
Sardar Ahmed Haleemi and Rasheed Baloch.
