UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

Frenchman Jean Moraiti will get his second chance inside three months to win a Universal Boxing Organization™ Inter-Continental title, as he challenges for the vacant Lightweight version on Sunday December 18 at the Sportpalast in Bielefeld, Germany.

Moraiti (13-10-4, 1 KO) lost a unanimous decision to rugged and experienced Georgian Mikheil Avakyan for the Super Lightweight crown in Slovenia back in September, and has since rebounded with a second round stoppage of Kamal Ibrahmen only last week.

His opponent on December 18 will also be moving down in weight for this opportunity. Coming off two convincing victories, battle-tested operator Michal Dufek is the reigning Czech national Super Lightweight titlist, and 20-14-1 (14) since entering the pro game in 2009.

Just as it was the case for Moraiti in Slovenia, the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) International championship will also be on the line in this fight, so the winner may be forced to pay for extra luggage for the flight home.

The Moraiti vs. Dufeck UBO/WBF Lightweight title fight will be promoted by Ranee Schroeder for SSL Sport & Eventpromotion. Schroeder will only just have turned fifteen (!) years old a few days before the show, making her the youngest licensed promoter in the history of boxing.
