Moraiti
(13-10-4, 1 KO) lost a unanimous decision to
rugged and experienced Georgian Mikheil Avakyan
for the Super Lightweight crown in Slovenia back
in September, and has since rebounded with a
second round stoppage of Kamal Ibrahmen only
last week.
His opponent on
December 18 will also be moving down in weight
for this opportunity. Coming off two convincing
victories, battle-tested operator Michal Dufek
is the reigning Czech national Super Lightweight
titlist, and 20-14-1 (14) since entering the pro
game in 2009.
Just as it was
the case for Moraiti in Slovenia, the vacant
World Boxing Federation (WBF) International
championship will also be on the line in this
fight, so the winner may be forced to pay for
extra luggage for the flight home.
