On Saturday September 24 at the Dvorana Tabor Hall in Maribor, Slovenia, Frenchman Jean Moraiti will fight Mikheil Avakyan from Georgia for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ Inter-Continental Super Lightweight title.

 
 

Moraiti, from the city of Aubagne, is the reigning WBF International Champion, a title he will also be defending on this occasion, and brings a professional resume that includes 12 wins, 9 losses and four draws (12-9-4, 0 KOs).



Born in Rostov-na-Donu, Russia,
Mikheil Avakyan has fought an amazing sixty-six times in the paid ranks, despite being only twenty-four years old. A former WBF world title-challenger, his current record stands at 36-26-4 (20).

 

 

Televised by RTV Sloneija, the Moraiti vs. Avakyan UBO/WBF title fight is one-third of a championship triple-header arranged as part of the World Boxing Federation (WBF) World Convention. The Universal Boxing Organization™ wishes our friends from the WBF a very successful event.

The show will be promoted by Tomaz Barada in association with former IBF and WBF world champion Jan Zaveck.
