In a clash of southpaw bangers, Sandor Micsko and Ericles Torres Marin are set to fight on Friday August 19 in Sturovo, Slovakia with the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ International Middleweight title up for grabs.

Micsko (28-11-2, 22 KOs) was originally scheduled to fight Istvan Zeller for the title earlier this year, but when the fight was postponed due to injury, the opponent had to be changed and Torres Marin has been given the opportunity.

From Cuban heritage but living in Hungary, 39-year-old Torres Marin (11-8-1, 6 KOs) will be looking to make it third-time-lucky in a professional career that started in 2011, having previously challenged unsuccessfully for IBF and IBA belts.

In Micsko, while ten years his junior, he will be up against a more active and more experienced foe, who has fought some of the best in Europe, including Chris Eubank Jr., Matthew Macklin and Jon Ryder, since entering the paid ranks in November 2011.

In 2013 he captured the Hungarian national Middleweight title, the WBF International Middleweight crown, the WBC CISBB title, and the Hungarian national Super Middleweight title. In 2014 he regained the Hungarian middleweight title.

The fight will headline a show promoted by Tibor Feja and his Fight Night Show Promotions.
