The Universal Boxing Organization™ International Light Heavyweight title will be on the line when promoter Francesco Leliaert stages a big show in Brugge, Belgium on Saturday October 22.

Local late-bloomer Eric Nazaryan (17-17-4, 11 KOs) is set to headline for the vacant title, against an opponent to be announced, as he looks to continue his recent streak of success.

Nazaryan, 31 years old, turned professional with a victory in April 2004, but soon fell into the role of journeyman, taking on all comers on short notice.

By August 2011 his record stood at a less-than-impressive 8-16-4, but since then things has turned around for him and he has left the ring a winner in nine of his last ten outings.

In July 2013 he came up short in his first title-challenge, when he was out-pointed by Michael Recloux for the Belgian national Super Middleweight title, but it was a close fight and made Nazaryan hungry for more.

The following February he traveled to Latvia, where he won the Baltic Boxing Union Light Heavyweight crown beating home-man Martins Kukulis, and now he is looking to take things to the next level by winning the UBO International belt.
