Turkish-born German Oezlem Sahin will attempt to become a three-time world champion on June 18 at the Sportzentrum in Velbert, Germany, when she squares off with Hungarian Agnes Draxler for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ Female World Minimumweight title.

Sahin (20-1-1, 6 KOs) won a Light Flyweight world title in 2011 by beating Romanian Carina Corlescu, who later went on to become European champion, and three years later moved down to Minimumweight to win her second world championship.

Last year she was defeated for the first and only time as a professional to date, losing her world title in the process, when she came up on the short end of a split decision against another former world titlist in Gretchen Abaniel from the Philippines.

Sahin returned to winning ways this past March in a non-title fight, and is now ready to return to the top-level and reclaim her former status as world champion against the young, but experienced, Draxler who brings a misleading 9-12 (1) record after fighting some of the best in the world.

Promoter of the big fight-card will be Fight Club Wuppertal, and further title fights and undercard match-ups are expected to entertain a sizable crowd from first to last bell.
