The
ten-round fight between 18-year-old southpaw
Kovacs and 20-year-old Vass will headline a show
promoted by Tibor Feja´s Fight Night Show
Promotion, and will be preceded by a full
undercard of match-ups pairing local talent.
Despite
being the younger man, Kovacs has more
professional experience than his opponent,
bringing a 15-5 (2) record, and is coming off two
victories since losing a WBO European title fight
at Super Welterweight in Germany last October.

For
Vass, who has also won his last two bouts, this
will be his first championship fight since
turning pro in April 2015. He last fought on
January 9, winning a unanimous decision over
eight rounds against Gabor Farkas to take his
ledger to 7-1 (1).
A very
well-matched fight on paper, it will be
interesting to see if the two boxers can deliver
fireworks in the ring, and it could easily come
down to who wants it more than the other.
