Yegorov,
born in Russia but residing and fighting out of
Donetsk, Ukraine, was too much for Georgian
Janezashvili, who stepped in on a few days notice
when his countryman Malkhaz Tatrishvili had to
pull out with an injury.
The
home-man started fast, and immediately forced the
visitor to fight on the back-foot. While the first
round was somewhat competitive, and the visitor
had a few moments of success, it would only be a
matter of time before Yegorov completely took
over.

The end
came in round two when Yegorov knocked
Janezashvili down with some hard and accurate
punches, making the referee wave it off and
declaring the Ukrainian winner by technical
knockout, delighting the enthusiastic fans at
ringside.
The new
UBO World champion improved his professional
record to 14-1-1 (7), while the brave but
out-gunned Janezashvili falls to 9-3 (2).
The
fight, which was part of a championship
triple-header televised live throughout Ukraine
on channel 2+2, was promoted by Union Boxing
Promotion headed by Yuriy Ruban.
