Fiko Stops Rostyo To Win UBO Youth Title

On Saturday night (August 9) at the Emperor Garden in Budapest, Hungary-based Romanian Oszkar Fiko won the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ Youth World Super Featherweight title in convincing fashion.

 
  

In a scheduled twelve-rounder, and in front of a lively crowd, 21-year-old Fiko defeated previously undefeated Hungarian Zoltan Rostyo by fourth round technical knockout.

With the victory, the new UBO champion improved his professional record to 10-6 (8), while Rostyo falls to 4-1 (1) after coming up short in his first title fight.

On the undercard, UBO Youth Welterweight champion Istvan Kiss stayed busy with a unanimous decision over Laszlo Jambrik, and improved his record to 16-12 (8).

 

 
 

Former UBO Youth champion Laszlo Fazekas also action, as he stopped Gergo Dancsi in three rounds to take his statistics to 22-15-1 (17).

The show was promoted by Toto Box Promotion, headed by Zoltan Kiss Sr.
