The fighting prides of Merced, California, brothers Jesus and Daniel Haro, will headline a Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) championship double-header in Ascension, Chihuahua, Mexico on Saturday February 28.

23-year-old Jesus “Chiquito” Haro (15-3-1, 3 KOs) will fight an opponent to be confirmed for the vacant UBO world Minimumweight title, while 21-year-old Daniel “Manitas De Piedra” Haro (7-1, 5 KOs) goes for the vacant UBO Inter-Continental Super Featherweight title against a foe also still in the works.

Last November Jesus, a former WBC Youth world champion, just missed out of becoming UBO world Minimumweight champion when he drew with undefeated Venezuelan Geremys Batista in La Estrella, Colombia.

A rematch against Batista has so far not been possible to make, so now Haro gets a second chance against a different opponent in Mexico.

Unlike his older brother, Daniel Haro will be fighting for his first professional title. He entered the paid ranks in June of 2021, and won his first four bouts before suffering a shock knockout-loss to Mexican Moises Garcia Zenteno the following May.

Now on a three fight winning-streak, he is ready to take on whoever he is paired with on February 28, and focused that nothing will stand in his way of winning the UBO Inter-Continental belt.

The show will be promoted by Promociones Paquime in association with Haro Bros Boxing, and will be available to watch world-wide on Box Stream TV.
