Fox
(25-5, 5 KOs), from Upper Marlboro, Maryland,
will face fellow southpaw Mark Dawson (12-1-1, 4
KOs), a tough and skilled Philadelphia-fighter
full of confidence.
“The
Professor” captured the UBO title in his most
recent fight,
last July,
when he won every round against Kendo Castaneda
at the same venue.
He
will now step right back into the fire against
28-year-old
Dawson, who
will be looking to score his biggest win to date
and
take home
his first title.

Dawson turned
pro in 2016 and went undefeated until
losing a
decision to Paul Kroll in a battle of undefeated
local prospects at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia
in November of 2021.
Before that he
had beaten 13-0-1 Ivan Pandzic, proving himself as
a legitimate prospect.
He has not lost
since
the Kroll
setback,
and will undoubtedly give Fox plenty to think
about come fight-night.
A
stacked
undercard will precede the Fox vs. Dawson UBO
championship headliner, on a massive card billed
as “Night of Championship Pro Boxing 19”.
