Ali vs. Tano For UBO M.E.N.A. Title on "Tides Of Power" Card

FIGHT POSTPONED! Bahrain´s only professional boxer, Yousef Ali, will attempt to become his country´s first professional boxing champion when he fights for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) M.E.N.A. Super Featherweight title on September 27 in Dubai.

  
 

On the big “Tides of Power” card promoted by Nana´s Promotions at Sweden Palace, Dubai World Islands, Ali (4-2) will face Dubai-based Filipino Norberto Tano (3-2, 1 KO).


Ali turned pro in Dubai in 2022, and won his first three bouts before suffering two unexpected defeats in 2024.


He rebounded with a shut-our decision over Egyptian Mohamed Abdelghany last December, and will now try to make history in the most significant fight of his career to date.


 
 

In Tano he will face a tough and rugged operator, who has been looking for a chance to make a breakthrough since he entered the paid code in 2018.

Activity has not been on his side, and at thirty-eight time isn't going to be on his side, so he is now determined to make the most of this big opportunity.
