Ashot Srapyan Fights For UBO Title On TL Promotion Card August 2

Undefeated Ashot Srapyan returns to Bangkok, Thailand to fight for the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Super Welterweight title when TL Promotion presents The Fighter World Boxing on August 2 at the World Siam Stadium.

  
 

27-year-old Srapyan is only 4-0 (2) in the pro game, but was an accomplished amateur and has intentions of being fast-tracked towards world title fights.

His opponent will be former WBC Asian Continental champion Chan Sala, who, despite a mediocre 12-7 (8) record has proven his worth and only come up short against good opponents.

The Thai won the WBC title in August of 2023 and successfully defended it the following May. Last April he lost a challenge for the WBO Oriental title, and now he is ready for another crack at winning his second pro title against Srapyan.


 
 

For Srapyan it will be his second straight fight in Bangkok, as he scored a unanimous decision over former Thai national champion Channarong Injampa this past March. This time he ups the ante, with higher stakes and against an even better foe.
