Georgiev,
fighting out
of Sofia,
scored by far
the best win of his career, as he defeated
former Spanish, European Union and IBF
International titlist Ronny Landaeta by
unanimous decision.
The fight
headlined Max Fight Championship 62, the latest
edition of one of the biggest recurring combat
sport events in Europe, promoted by Max Fight
Promotions in collaboration with Alexeev
Promotions.
Landaeta, born
in Venezuela but now a Spanish national, was as
tough as expected, but Georgiev boxed
excellently and executed a strict game-plan to
fend off the rugged visitor.
