Saturday, January 18, saw two new Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) champions crowned on a show promoted by Sergio Andrade in Medellin, Colombia.

 
 

Blake Franklin, who has now won four straight since returning after a four year absence from the ring last September, won the vacant UBO Continental Welterweight title, stopping Eduardo Rosas in two rounds.


Resurrected Franklin (38), from Bossier City in Louisiana, is now 16-13-2 (6), while Colombia´s Rosas (22) drops to 4-2 (0).


At Bantamweight, undefeated Amber Summers overwhelmed and stopped late substitute Eddy Eusse in the first round to win the vacant UBO Inter-Continental title.


 
 

The hard-hitting southpaw who is boxing out of the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, is now 7-0 (7) since turning professional in May of last year, and is not wasting any time making her way up the ladder.
