UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

An Italy-based Albanian born in Greece, meet Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Light Heavyweight champion Aleksander Ramo (15-0, 8 KOs).

Nine-time Albanian amateur champion Ramo turned professional in Italy In March of 2018, stopping 3-0 local prospect Giovanni Rossoni.

Out of his fifteen pro bouts, ten has taken place in Italy. Four times he has boxed in his native Albania, and once he ventured to Austria for a fight.

In March of 2022 he made a small breakthrough when, in only his eighth fight, he defeated former European Union titlist Serhiy Demchenko, a Ukrainian based in Italy.

Before that he had beat current UBO world Light Heavyweight champion Michal Ryba, prior to Ryba breaking out of the journeyman role he was in early in his career.

Leading up to winning the UBO Inter-Continental title by stopping Venezuelan Carlos Eduardo Jimenez in two rounds on July 25 last year in Ferrara, Ramo had recorded some additional significant wins.

Former Colombian champion Edwin Riascos (13-1), tough Angolan Henriques Lando (9-7), and very experienced Argentinian Jorge Daniel Miranda (59-21-1) were all swept aside with relative ease.

After boxing five times between February and July of 2024, Ramo has yet to fight since becoming UBO champion. His return will hopefully be confirmed soon.
