Former UBO International Light Heavyweight champion Matheus Da Silva reaffirmed his standard when he decisioned fellow undefeated Yelkhan Tebynbayev(5-0) to win the WBC Youth Intercontinental Super Middleweight crown on December 11.

The fight was on the undercard of Angelina Lukas winning the UBO World Super Flyweight title against Lulu Kayage at the Almaty Arena in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Also the Brazilian national Light Heavyweight champion, Da Silva (23) improved his record to 8-0 (3).


 
 

Filipino UBO International champions James Pagaling and Eldin Guinahon both stayed busy with knockout victories in non-title fights on December 20 in Misamis Oriental, improving their records to 8-0 (5) and 9-0 (8) respectively.


Congratulations to UBO Youth world champion Giovanni “Nino” Rossetti, who added the Italian national Middleweight title to his collection just before Christmas.

Having won the UBO title last July by halting Belgian Jan Helin in three rounds, 22-year-old Rosetti stopped reigning Italian titlist Carlo De Novellis in eight rounds on December 23, improving his record to 11-1 (4).


On December 27 in Pec, Kosovo, UBO Youth world Super Welterweight champion Edmond Zefi took his record to 13-2 (9), stopping Bulgarian journeyman Samuil Dimitrovin the second round of a non-title fight.
