• Since winning the UBO International Welterweight title last February, Argentina´s UBO 2020 Prospect of the Year Guido Emmanuel Schramm, 8-0-1, (5), has stayed busy with two non-title victories.

In October Schramm (25) he decisioned Rodrigo Nahuel Escasena (9-13-3), and just before Christmas he out-pointed Mariano Simon Maidana (5-2-3), both over six rounds.

• Unable to land a significant (boxing) fight in the immediate future, former UBO World Light Heavyweight Champion Ryan Ford,17-6, (12), from Canada, is reportedly looking for a return to MMA, a sport he has been very successful in before.

“The Real Deal” is known for his willingness to fight anyone, anytime, so he will almost certainly be back in the boxing ring for a big fight at some point.

• Former UBO European Middleweight titlist Peter Kramer, 11-3-1, (8), broke a two-fight losing streak when he knocked out Gyorgy Varju (7-8) in the first round in Budapest on September 11.

• Two-time UBO All-Africa Welterweight Champion Idd Pialari beat Filipino journeyman Arnel Tinampay (26-25-1) on the Salimu Jengo vs. Eduard Mancito UBO World Lightweight title undercard in Dar Es Sallam on November 28.

Pialari, also a former UBO International Welterweight Champion, won by unanimous decision after 8 rounds, and took his record to 28-5-1 (20).

• Reigning undefeated UBO International Middleweight king Marc Dube, 11-0 (9), from Germany, ticked over with a fourth round routine stoppage of Bosnian late replacement Sasa Filipovic (0-1) in November, his first outing since winning the UBO title in December of 2019.
